The Bilingual Language Interference Research Group (BLInG) was founded in fall 2020 to study how two or more languages interact in the speech of bilingual and multilingual speakers. Currently the group functons as an independant entity uniting resesarchers of different languages and data scientists. Together we apply an array of sociolinguistic methods of collecting the data with the best practices of analyzing them to find out how two or more languages interact in an individual, what is the dynamics between them and what factors contribute to this dynamics.
In the undergoing research we interview adults who are Russian native speakers living in the environment of a different language.
If you would like to find out more or get involved, we’d love to hear from you.
